Standard Style Boutique:

Standard Style Boutique opened on October 16, 2003, after owners Matt and Emily relocated from California back to their roots in the Midwest.  Following their passion for people, fashion, and the arts they created their vision of Standard. The first boutique opened up in Leawood, Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City) with men’s and women’s clothing ranging from casual classics to high end fashion. The concept morphed to include shoes, handbags, gifts, kids, and accessories and became a premiere one stop shopping destination for the entire family with over 150 collections. After outgrowing their first space, they expanded the boutique to 4500 square feet during 2006 in Leawood’s Town Center Plaza.

Standard Style’s vision to serve clients in its hometown allowed for the opportunity for a second location in Kansas City, Missouri. With 4,300 square feet on the Country Club Plaza, Standard Style constructed another one stop shopping destination which opened in November 2006.

The next part of growing the vision was to launch an online boutique. Standardstyle.com opened up for business in January of 2005. Standardstyle.com aims at superior customer service, the hottest fashions first, and personalizing individuals needs.  Standardstyle.com will continue to improve the online boutique experience through technology, product, and customer service.

Standard is committed to superior customer service and staying up on the latest trends through featuring classic designers as well as supporting emerging new designers.  Standard will continually grow their concept to support and encourage individualism and creativity through fashion, art, and music as well growing friendships.
